We launched the Ocean Explorer OE60-001 and did the first maiden voyage under engine on July 23rd. Mast stepping will be done shortly and after this sail trials will commence.
The preliminary results under engine indicates the hull design is perfect. The boat responds very well to rudder and accelerate fast when engines are given throttle.
The balance is perfect, the boat is perfect. We are looking forward to the sail trials with ease in mind,having no doubt in the outcome after having experienced the indications under engine.
